Changing the height of one Div based on another Div's height

I currently have a display of four divs positioned side by side. I am seeking a solution to ensure that the height of each div remains consistent, and should adjust accordingly if one of them increases in size due to added text content.

For reference, please see my :Fiddle

If possible, please test resizing the width of the response.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Answer №1

Here is the recommended solution utilizing display:flex:

Check out this code snippet for an example: jsfiddle.net/94uvouzw/7/

Answer №2

$(document).ready(function(){
    let height;
    let maxHeight = 0;
    $(".test").each(function(){
        height = $(this).height();
        if(height > maxHeight) {
            maxHeight = height;
        }
    });
    $(".test").css("height",maxHeight);
});

Using jQuery for dynamic height adjustment
