Change the Background of Your Body?

Here's the deal.

I'm looking to create a cool effect where the background of the body slowly fades out and changes periodically in a loop using CSS and jQuery. Any suggestions on how I can make this happen?

Appreciate your help!

To create a dynamic background color effect on your webpage, you can utilize the jQuery animate method along with a recursive function to continuously change colors:

var colors = ["red", "green", "blue"];
var index = 0;

function changeBackgroundColor() {
 // Change to the next color over 2 seconds. After completion, call this function again.
 $("body").animate({"background-color": colors[index]}, 2000, changeBackgroundColor);
 index++;
 index %= 3;
}

changeBackgroundColor();
