Challenges with CSS floating in Internet Explorer 6

Having an issue with the floating side panel, it seems to be displaying correctly in Firefox but is getting pushed down at the bottom of the page in IE.

The URL in question is: www.sellandrentbackhouse.co.uk

I've attempted to make the blog match the website's design, but the issue still persists even in Firefox. Unable to pinpoint the cause of the problem. Help!

Any suggestions? Visit www.sellandrentbackhouse.co.uk

One issue with IE6 is its inconsistency in floating elements correctly, especially when the widths of two items are close to 100% of their container's width. To address this problem, you can try implementing a couple of solutions:

  1. Include margin-right:-20px; in your #main div CSS
  2. Float the main content left and the sidePanel right
