Bootstrap SASS creates a directory named "vendor" during compilation

After configuring Bootstrap SASS, I encountered a small issue where Compass generates a folder named 'vendor/bootstrap.css' next to the styles.css file. It seems quite strange because Bootstrap is already included in style.css. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any configuration options related to this in the Bootstrap variables.

If your goal is to include the bootstrap file in another scss file, you will need to change the name of the bootstrap.scss file to _bootstrap.scss.

Files that start with an underscore are not processed into css files.
