Arranging Form Elements with Bootstrap styling

Check out the Bootply I created to demonstrate an issue I'm facing: http://www.bootply.com/8fPmr31Wd7

When scrolling down, you'll notice that "People" and "Places" are indented on the sides.

It's possible that I'm not using the correct classes or there might be a grid bug causing elements within a form to slightly misalign on the sides and not properly line up with the rest of the form.

Bootstrap 4 is currently in testing phase and I wanted to clarify whether this is a bug or if I have overlooked something. Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answer №1

Your form rows currently have grid rows without any columns, except for the People and Places form element groups which do use columns.

By following the advice in the top answer on Best practice for single column within row in bootstrap v3 grid system? and adding a 12-unit wide column to your other rows, you can ensure consistent horizontal spacing throughout your grid layout.
