Are the scripts conflicting with one another and negating their effects?

Seeking assistance with creating HTML, CSS, and Jquery code for a slideshow on my website. I am relatively new to this and struggling to get it right. I want the slideshow on to match the one on .

There are two issues - the button to switch images is not appearing on my vbwtest site, and the script stopped working after some changes were made. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Answer №1

Upon inspecting the website's code using firebug, I discovered that the arrow image is failing to load due to an incorrect link in the CSS file.

Regarding the malfunctioning script, the slider functions perfectly. Surprisingly, even the arrow button works despite the missing image.
