Alter the Color of the 'div' According to the Background

At the bottom right of my website, there is a black chatbot icon. The web footer also has a black background. To create a clear contrast, I have decided to change the color of the chatbot to white as users scroll to the bottom of the page.

I implemented this color change using the Scrollbar Height feature.

Answer №1

Are you suggesting that you would like a fixed icon to change color to white when the background is black, and to black when the background is white as you scroll?

If that is what you mean, then apply this CSS code to the fixed element: mix-blend-mode: difference;

I apologize if I misunderstood your question. It might be helpful to include some sample code to clarify your desired outcome.
