After applying the cellClass in ng-grid, the row border mysteriously disappears

After applying cellClass to color an entire column, the row border disappears. Here is a link to the Plunker demonstration: http://plnkr.co/edit/4IeQQBTIe8sgHVEBUTAp?p=preview. Does anyone have a solution for this issue?

Answer №1

To enhance the styling, you can include the following code snippet:

.ngCellText{
   border: 1px solid rgb(212,212,212);
}

in your most recent stylesheet.

style.css within this modified Plunker

Answer №2

Although I'm not a CSS expert, one possible reason for the missing border could be due to the angular-ui stylesheet that is being included.

The issue may stem from the .ngCellText class which adds a padding of 5px, causing the bottom border to disappear from view.

I recommend checking the angular-ui documentation for guidelines on how to correctly implement it for similar cases. In the meantime, you could try reducing the padding as a temporary fix.

There might also be a valuable lesson about border-collapse in this situation, but I must admit that I am not well-versed in CSS and haven't researched it further.

I hope this information proves somewhat helpful!
