Adjust the size of the window to prevent the text from shifting

How can I lock text and tables in place when resizing the window? Can someone provide an example?

Answer №1

To prevent text reflow when the window size is smaller than a specified width, make sure to set a width for your body or content container:

body { width:960px; }

This will ensure that the text remains formatted correctly even on smaller screens. The same principle applies to tables as well.
