Adjust the alignment of an expansion panel header to the right using Vuetify

Incorporating the Vuetify expansion panel, I am aiming to align a specific portion of the content within the

<div slote="head"></div>
to the right, resulting in this desired layout:

Unfortunately, the current output is different from my intention as shown below:

I have attempted several methods including using CSS properties like float:right and text-align:right, as well as experimenting with negative margins but all were unsuccessful.

Answer №1

Attention: Your expansion panel appears to not be extending to full width

Here is the solution you need:

<div slot="header">
  <v-layout row>
    <v-flex xs8>
      Item
    </v-flex>
    <v-flex xs4 text-xs-right>
      Item
    </v-flex>
  </v-layout>
</div>

Answer №2

I encountered a situation where a line of CSS was unexpectedly overriding my own styles.

.v-expansion-panel__header > .v-expansion-panel__header__icon {
  flex: 1 1 auto !important;
}

After removing this conflicting code, the issue was resolved.
